ABOUT THE TEACHER
Robert is a certified RussaYog instructor, having studied with Jasprit and Teresa Singh since
2004. He taught at the Ann Arbor RussaYog Studio from 2012 through 2015. He also studied
Hatha Yoga in New York City for many years with Maharaj Swami Bua (1887-2010), (pictured in the slide show above) a contemporary of the great Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. Robert is an accomplished multi- instrumentalist musician and composer, and has created music for yoga since the mid-1980s, collaborating with leading yoga teacher and educator Leslie Kaminoff on an instructional yoga DVD in 2010.
Classes will feature Robert’s original music as a backdrop, and focus on the precepts of

flexibility and balance.
Robert has also collaborated with PeopleDancing in performance, providing music for ‘Matrices’ (guitar and electronics), and ‘Evolve’ (sitar, with his wife Grace Chung, on tabla.)
